As I got older, my goals got bigger, and I set my sights on earning a scholarship to play in college. I surrounded myself with other driven athletes in middle school and high school, stepped up my work ethic, and made the most of every opportunity to pitch in front of college coaches.
I went on to earn a full scholarship to Texas A&M and pitch in two Women's College World Series.
From being told I'd never make it as a pitcher to being named a two-time D1 All-American.
That's the belief behind everything we do at the Pitching Angel Experience.

For more than 15 years, I've coached pitchers at hundreds of clinics all across the country. But a 60-90 minute clinic only goes so far. I wanted to give pitchers more time, more attention and more of what actually changes a season. So I built The Pitching Angel Experience.

Meet Amanda!
I have coached pitchers since 2009, even though after I finished my All-American career at Texas A&M, I never thought I would be involved in softball anymore!
Let me explain....
My senior year at Texas A&M, I suffered a career-ending injury. The day before that injury, I felt burnt out and ready to move on from softball. I was ready to do something new.
This injury threw me into a completely different role with my team, where I went from being an everyday starter to a player/coach in the dugout, watching my team compete from a whole new perspective.
It was during this time I found what I was put in the world to do: coach pitchers.
Since then, I have coached pitchers allllll over the world, created my online pitching trainings - Foundation First, Strike Zone Secrets and Maximum Velocity - and written my book, One Pitch Away.
I am also a softball analyst for ESPN, where I call over 120 games a year at every level of the sport - from the Little League Softball World Series to the Women's College World Series, which I've called for over 10 years. I now also call AUSL Professional Softball, including the championship games!
Pitching is one of the most difficult things to master in all sports. It takes patience, practice, great coaches and most importantly, belief. My goal now is to share as much as I possibly can with pitchers and their families to help them navigate their unique pitching journey.
Pitching shaped me into the woman I am today - strong-willed, determined, independent and ambitious. I want your pitcher to pitch as long as possible, knowing that what she learns through pitching can change her life - on and off the field.
